I have a 2001 Mustang GT 5 speed and live in california. Is the diablo sport tuner smog legal in california. If not then is there any tuner thats legal?

I used to live in Cali and the only time something would not be considered smog legal is if
A) it was a bolt on performance enhancement that required a CARB# and did not have one (I.E. intake, headers, exhaust, Turbo, etc) I think CAI are the only exception
B) once the part is on there it still passes smog. Most tuner chips still keep the air/fuel ratio at 14.1:1 so unless something is batty in your exhaust/emissions system, it should be fine.
