Alright, I have a friend who is getting a bug-eyed WRX. I don't know whether he is getting an auto or manual but i am guessing manual. He is calling me out for when he gets his car. What do you guys expect to happen if we did race? This race will be at the track if anywhere, if i get a ticket my car is gone... [>:]
If you are stock it will be close, whoever get's off the line first! Probelm is he's awd and your *** is going to be spinning!

You will more than likely lose on the take off and lose a little ground on your 1-2 shift as your tires will chirp a bit. If it's one of the older WRX's it should be close. The new WRX (not STi) will run 0-60 in 6 seconds and the quarter in ??? So the older WRX's are slightly slower. Warm up the tires before racing though.....

bugeye and the new body style WRXs are the exact smae cars mechanically. Just have different bodies.

They'll run the same times

5.4ish to 60

14.2-14.5ish to the 1/4

They're good runs for a 99+ GT.
