Default PROBLEMS WIH SHOCKS! HELP! *PICS!*

My front drivers side shock is "leaking" if I touch the stiffness adjuster on the top of the shock a little bit of fluid leaks out. What should I do?

probably nothing you can do other than replace them. that means there must be a seal blown in the strut which i would imagine cannot be replaced.

Thats what I thought but i figured i would ask to see if it happened to anyone else. Anyone have any opinions, should I just replace it with what ive got now (Koni Yellow (single adjustable) shocks).

Yup. Blown seal. Have to replace it. But unless its fairly new you'll probably need to replace both sides. . . Just my .02

Suggustions on what to replace with, should I go with a front drag setup or should I stick with my current auto-x and track setup?

edit: why would i have to replace both sides? do you think the rebound has faded over time?

How many miles are on them? Really a shock can go 50k no problems but it just depends on how much auto X time you see. So are you into auto X or into drag? Just get some adjustables

I installed them in 2000 and my car now has 38k miles on it I dont remember what the mileage was when i installed them. and it didnt get autocrossed that much, it ran mostly big tracks like leguna seca and thunder hill ect.

I really do like drag racing but the Track setup is alot of fun for DD
