Default Coilover struts compatibility question.

I'm looking to get a tubular front end conversion kit. I was wondering if my bilstein struts will fit with granatelli kit. I'm looking to get it from jegs, does anyone know of a less expensive place to get it?

Don't skimp when it comes to your suspension, especially coilovers. There is a reason why they are substantially more expensive from griggs and maximum motorsports as apposed to granatelli and eibach. However if you must go with granatelli then I am gonna say no, it looks like that kit was designed to work with the stock struts. Just be aware, you get what you pay for, MM and griggs thuroughly track their products and spent alot of money in r&d, and again there are reasons why some products are cheaper.

Its for use with aftermarket front struts. I will only be using the for the streets, I rarely ever goto the track. Ive never even heard of griggs before, but after looking at their site it looks like their stuff is more for hardcore racing. And theres no way Im going to pay $1800 for a front end kit from MM.

Well either way, I'm just giving information, in the end the car is yours, Granatelli is really a cheap knockoff suspension company that claims companies like mm and griggs copied their designs. Good luck.

i would go w/ MMR's set[8D] cheap and relatively good from what i hear on corral + they tell you waht works with what... and you can call them to find out your best spring rate etc..

I have UPR front coilovers. I had to do a lot of beating and grinding to get the dust cover supports off. Lead me to messing up one strut and having to get another set, sucky deal. My KYB AGX struts fit just fine with no mods in the UPRs though
