i belive the 99 gts had the speed limiter set like at 130 because of the tire rating but i could be talkin out of my ***, but yet the acutal speedometer goes to 150 in gts
I took mine to 145when I first got it(stock)to see what it could do. Didn't cut out on me.
Not every car was speed limited... Only ones from the factorythat didnt have the correct speed ratings on the tires..

i know, my moms talking to the guy now..and i have a feeling shes gonna **** the guy off, we've been calling him alot and stuff...yes, i'm 19, a full time student, and can only manage a part time job...and i need someone her age to even dream of handling the insurance, so what she says goes now.

crossing my fingers though.

How come that car has no hood scoop, and diffrent wheels than the other GTs? did all the 99 look like this? not arguin though, i've never been much for the hood scoop.

99-first half of the 01s have no hood scoops, side scoops, base wheels, different spoiler, T45 5spd, block built in Windsor, i believe a 8 bolt, and some minor interior stuff, and always the platic intake cracking problem.

01.5 to 04's have the hood scoop, side scoops, 3650 5spd, nicer wing, bullitt wheels and the chrome 5 spoke, 6 bolt, and the block was built in Romeo, mach 460 and 1000 stereo, and i believe minor stuff like a differnt alt...

thats off the top of my head, some stuff may be wrong or i amleaving some out.

the wingdepends on preference, the intake was fixed in 99 really, and their not base wheels, theirGT wheels, and 460 was an option back then also dont know about the 1000....i have a 2000 with the updated/good intake, came with those wheels, and the mach 460

w/e, i dont care if it has a juliet block..i've wanted a mustang for nearly 3 years, as long as it's a V8, 5spd, and unmolested i'm happy.
