Default spring/shock/strut install

my H&R springs came in today as well as my tokico hp shocks and struts. me and my buddy are planning on installing them today after class...so i was wondering if theres in special tools neccesary or anything i need to look out for while installing the struts/shocks

spring compressor, should be able to borrow from autozone/advance. 2 jacks, 1 for car, 1 for wheel working on.

i recommend 2 jack stands and a jack instead of using 2 jacks, alot safer. but i did the install without a spring compressor, didnt need one at all. even when i dropped the a arm all the way down by accident the spring didnt even come out. good luck

o and it shouldnt take but about 3 MAYBE 4 hours if its ur first time for everything

A long pry bar to pry the stock spring out. You might need an impact gun too, depending on the condition of your bolts. It's a pretty straight forward job.

I also did the install with out a spring compressor. I had the car up on jack stands and I put the jack underneath the control arm and then just slowly lowered the jack to release the spring tension.
