Ever since I changed my e-brake handle to one of those pretty ones, it buzzes all the time. I love it[:@].

I don't know if we have the same thing but mine rattles to and it is just the button so every now and then I just push it a couple times and then it goes away for a couple minutes. you kind of made it sound like it was something internal with yours so I don't know, but see if it is just the button.

I have the same problem and it's just the button, has anyone found a more permanent way to fix it without wadding up some paper and shoving it in there or something? I want it to go away without looking too tacky like that.

To fix mine I pulled of the e-brake handle and wrapped the rod the button sits on in some plastic then put it back together. It works pretty good. Just a pain to do all of that for a little rattle.

Yeah but when you you get that rattle it's irritating as hell. I'll work on mine tonight.

I put up with this for 9 months in my car until I had enough. If I pulled up on the lever or pushed it down it would quiet for a couple minutes. There was afair amount of play in my lever since I purchased the car. It drove me absolutely insane.

My solution was to order a brand new E-brake lever assembly online and replace it completely.
