Default need ford tech...

would appreciate some feed back guys. when slowing down form highway speeds, say from 65 -55 and below, it's like the rpm kind of sticks for a few seconds then goes to where it suppossed to be. no slipping of the tranny, no check engine light. doesn't do it anyother time, just when slowing down from 65 or so. tps? tranny speed sensor? appreciate the help.

My car does it too. I think it's just a heavy rotating assembly. Like when i rev my car, it hangs and comes down slowly.

I think thats the idler doing its job. It hangs at or about 1000-1100 rpms till you come colse to a full stop, then drops? Thats what mine has always done.
