i don't know if this will work but try purchasing an iac restrictor. That'll drop it back down quick.

k i found that screw i was looking for the screw the picture from stangworld showed but i guess its the throttle cable one

update on the iac swap:

bought new iac bc after switching tb and plenum idle would stick at 1500 for about five secs then drop to 800 (annoying) but the new iac DID NOT WORK or i guess did work but was not the problem. anyway any other sugggestions?

How many RPMs will it drop if the IAC is the problem?

you installed the throttle body and your car started rev hanging?
Put the old throttle body back on.
I noticed your car is an automatic? I don't know if this is only for the Accufab or not, but alot of people with AOD complain about there throttle body (or i think it was only accufab throttle bodys?) causing a rev hang.
