Jon Beast, the tag on my rear end tag says it is a 3.08 Traction-Lok.
Huh, I didn't know that, I thought all 96-98 GTs had 2.73's...I guess i'm wrong

TC is nice for normal daily driving in the rain. But it also sucks because I've forgotten to push the button at the dragstrip a couple times before! LOL

Speaking of mid pipe and catback...........it is one of the first mods I intend on implementing on the beast. Any suggestions (although this is a little off topic)?? Also just clearing this up, a midpipe will get rid of those darn CAT's right?

Hopefully i wont have to deal with emissions crap. Eliminating the 4 CATS is going to take a whole look of restriction out of the back end. *starts to look for mid's and catbacks- to determine options and pricing*

For emissions you can just keep your stock midpipe and swap it in and out for emissions. Midpipes will run you around 150-200, and catback prices vary. I got a shop to build my catback, you may consider that. I bought my mufflers and they built it and put on the tips. There are a lot of choices you can make when it comes to exaust. Good luck with your mods.
