the Cobra heads would involve some other mods, i've heard from some people that they bolt right onto the 2v block and other people say they won't, but i do believe the Cobra intake manifold is different and i'm sure there are other issues you'll run into. you can make it work if you really want to. on the other hand, Patriot Performance does a damn good job getting better flow out of the 2v heads. still not as good as a 3v or 4v head, but better than what you've got.

i gave you some links in my post above. also check out Modular Powerhouse (MPH), they've got some good heads too that will bolt right on to your block and use all your existing hardware (intake, exhaust, etc)

patriots are good heads..

they dont make an aftermarket 2v heads...mostly all remans...that are ported and polished with springs and valves...but all companys do their port polish valves and springs diffrent...

Besides the FRPP SVO heads, all aftermarket 2v heads are just stock castings that have been ported and usually larger valves. There are several companies out there that sell them. Cobra heads will fit on your block, but its not as easy as just doing a head swap. I'm pretty sure you will need the whole timing cover and engine accessories, cobra harness + computer, etc...its a very involved install. If that is the route your thinking of, good luck, but i would rather just find a used 4v motor and just swap the whole thing in. There is rumors of a couple of companies coming out with completely redesigned heads for our cars, it just takes a lot of time and money to completely re-engineer a set of heads from scatch.
