Default UPR X-Pipe, diff between cat and no cat

Doing a little homework makes me think the UPR X-pipe is what I want. Does anyone know if there a difference in HP gain between cat. converter version and the O/R version? My first thought is to go with O/R version because it's cheaper but what does that mean when I go to get my smog sticker? Thanks in advance.

Well it has no cats, so you will need MIL elimanators. So you can "trick" youre o2's. I have the off road version. NH doesnt currently have smog test. But when they do an inspection they "have" to look for cats and make sure youre evap ssytem is working properly. If youre lucky you can find a scum bag station without a lift and they wont take the time to check. lol.

if you are looking for the best x pipe out there, you've got to go with dr. gas, they are expensive but the best.

I won't argue because I am still shopping and don't own one. What about the cat. versus O/R HP? One over the other or the same?

Generally their pretty close but the O/R will have slightly higher HP (at the cost of failing inspection if they look for your cats)

That means its up to you whats more important a few HP of staying street legal... If you want to stay street legal i would recommend looking for a X with "high-flow" cats. which one is up to preferance...

Yeah, that's about what I was thinking HP-wise. Thanks for the advice.
