Who the hell knows! Just don't overfill, I believe it's like 3.7 quarts or close to that!

I had moble 1 syn in mine, it was noticably louder and really didn't like cold weather, so I switched back to the reg ATF tremec reccomends and noticed it did help noise and not so bad when cold.

Dexron III/Mercon or Dexron V is what TTC (the people who build and design Tremec trannies) spec for the TR-3650. Its right in the most recent service manual. Synthetic fluids will soften/pit the synchros causing them to wear quicker. The proper fill level is 3.0 liters or 3.2 quarts.

yea it used to be 3.8 quarts but they changed it to 3.2 because it was too much, you can put about 4 quarts in and it still wont come outta the fill hole, only do 3.2

I did a bit of research around the net on transmission oil, and engine oil for that mattera while back. I read many tests by professionals and not so professionals and Amsoil was always on top or close. However Royal Purple was never on top, mediocre was about the the best they could muster. They are more advertising than the real thing. stay with Amsoil.
