Default 4.10s

So after talking about gears i have chosen to go with 4.10s in my 98 cobra. Is there anything else i should do while changing gears like rebuilding t-lok? thanks

IMO if you got the money to rebuild go for it, otherwise you will be fine w/o it

I'd leave it alone. That's really not that many miles.

i would go with atleast 4.30's n/a

the 4v's have a very high powerband

4.10's will help but everyone say's 4.30's-4.56's n/a. some even run those gear's f/i

i plan on doing 4.30's with 125 shot

Replace the outer wheel bearings (The ones at the end of the axle tubes).

thats stupid...

The term "don't fear the gear" is stupid too..

I have 4.10s and for every day driving wouldn't want anything any lower. Everone can say what they want, but if you had 4.56's and had to turn your car 4000 at 60mph you'd get tired of it quick

some people may like the high gear ****, but its retarded, i have a 97 cobra, i have 4.10s in it and im honestly dbeating on getting 3.73s instead the 2500 rpms at 70mph is getting annoying, esp at 3,000 rpms at 80.
