top speed
i am trying to figure out the top speeds of the mustangs so i was wondering what will a 4.6 liter top out at. and also the 5.0

well what years are we talkign about, a 5.0 gets to 120 pretty quick, and it takes a bit to get to 140, a 96-98 gt gets to 120 slower then a fox but about the same to get to 140. a 99-04 gt gets to 120 pretty quick and goes to 140 quicker then the 2 above.

ive had mine up to 146 then a honda pulled in ront of me and i had to slow down

I think I hit like 85 once. The 4.6's tend to top out between 145 and 160 depending on a lot of things.

i hit 180 with the spare donuts on the front to reduce rolling friction... probably coulda hit 190 with the donut spares all the way around

i have seen a thread where a guy with a 01 cobra (minor bolt on's)
gps'd 164 mph with 4.30's. i believe he then did 175mph downhill

Arent donuts speed rated to 55mph? Going 180 deffinately doesnt sound like a smart idea.
