Removing Air Silencer

How do you remove the air silencer on a 04 Mustang GT?? Will it make a sound difference??

If anyone knows of where there are some good pics of how to do this please post. I would just like to see it. I know it isn't hard. Mine was out when I bought it.

check out mustangworld.com they have an entire section on how-to. in there is some stuff on cold air and air silencer removal.

Won't make a sound difference at all.

Infact, you might hear a FART noise coming from the engine, it'll sound really wet too.

^^hahaha.

It's really easy. Unbolt the 1 bolt that holds the intake in place, pull it up and towards the engine. It will pull a rubber tube thing out with it... Rip that thing off and put it back in place.
