Hi all..new to forum,have 99 GT convert. Been having problem with rough idle and high speed miss (35 to 40 mph) service engine light comes on and when checked with harbor freight code reader,I get code 0181fuel temp sensor) two dealer parts men tell me there is no such thing. One service writer said could be fuel pressure sensor. Left car with mech who does regular repairs for me for two weeks, car ran fine every time driven,comes home, prob is back.Ford dealer said to use the car until prob comes back (with light on) and bring in to dealership.would like to beat this thing myself and save $$ if possible. since its a 99 it could be your manifold. They have been know to crack. you should up grade to the one with the aluminum crossover.

our you could have water in one or you spark plug hole. In my car, the spark plug hole on the passernger side last one closest to the fire wall would always fill up full of water. so check all your spark plugs and replace them if needed.
