Heater Core Question
How hard is it to replace the heater core in a 2000 GT? I broke my old one trying to get the hose off lol. Do you just take out the glove box and go from there? I have done one before on my buddies '87 F-150 and it was pretty easy but I know my car is far from an '87 F-150. Thanks guys.

RE: Heater Core Question
You're not going to like this answer, from the shop manual:
[ol][*]Disconnect the battery;[*]Remove (recover) the refrigerant from the AC system;[*]Drain the cooling system;[*]Remove the entire dash;[*]Disconnect the heater hoses from the core;[*]Disconnect the vacuum line;[*]Disconnect the AC liquid line;[*]Remove a bunch of nuts and screws fastening the evaporator housing;[*]Remove the evaporator core housing;[*]Remove the heater core screws;[*]Remove the heater core;[/ol]
Do it allin reverseto get things back together...
