I'm getting Ford Racing upper control arms and it is recommended to get new bolts, well the arms don't come with them.
What grade of nuts and bolts do I need to replace the stock ones?

Or is there a place to get new control arm mounting hardware witout going through Ford?

I used Grade 8 hardware.Just went to the hardware shop with the bolt that came out of the control arms and matched up the lengths.

you can also buy the hardware from upr, they have a kit.

I'm not positive on the size, either 12mm or 14mm. either way get 10.9 stainless bolts.

get it at your local hardware store, ford wanted something like $12 a bolt last time i checked.

If you haven't ordered them i have a set of the Ford racing uppers new in box i want to get rid of cheap.

Grade 8 bolts are SAE, so if you go that route the bolt won't be the correct size.

I had UPR stuff and the holes were different than the stock bolt sizes and the SAE stuff actually fit better.

just go up to TSC and get some grade 8. i think 7/16" fit. thats what i put in mine when i did them. if cost me like $5 for all the bolts nuts and washers

if the old ones are in good condition, just reuse them.
