Default Gears, Clutch, Shifter Installed! Wow...

I got my FRPP 3.73s, King Cobra Clutch, and Steeda Tri-Ax put in the last two days and my o my do I have a new car. My old clutch was real bad, it was long and heavy, so I can hardly drive with my new one in, I had to relearn to drive with a lighter clutch, I felt like such an idiot. Going from a heavy clutch to a light one is real hard. But after a little while I got it under control. The Tri-Ax is awesome, notchy, but awesome, it will loosen up in no time. But last but not least the gears are AMAZING! Getting gears woke my care up so much, I heard everyone say it over and over again, but until you experience gears yourself, you can't even imagine the difference. Im so happy, I can't wait to take my car out this weekend! JonBeast has unleashed the Beast!

can't beat the performance value of the gears. if u lay off it like it is ever really going to happen i know but you will get a little better mileage with the 3.73's

Okay, here we go...

FRPP 3.73 Gears- $160

Motive Rear End Rebuild Kit- $90

King Cobra Clutch-$160

Install- $600 ($250 gears, $350 clutch, which included resurfacing my flywheel which costs about $50)

Depending on how many miles you have, you wont need to get a rebuild kit, but I have over 100K, so I got it. It was cheap and will be worth it in the long run.

I got my stuff from mustangtuning.com, except the gears, I got them from a guy on allfordmustangs.com
Good luck with your mods!

Well you have the T45 so your 5th gear tranny ratio is a little lower... so 3.73's for you is the same as 4.10's for us.

Yeah, he has an auto so he has to make up for a lot of drivetrain loss also.
