TB/Plenum worth it ? With the gears you have and a tune I think it would help. I don't have the best rated Plenum, but my Dragon does just fine.

I just purchased the a C&L plenium and a MAC 70mm tb and I can't wait to install them. The reason why I bought it beacause I got a friend with a 04 GT with similar mods to mine and he has the plenium and tb. I not only set in the passenger seat I also drove the car. No nose bleed difference but there was a differnce. A definite advantage over my car. That's what's it all about right? Having a advantage over your opponent!!!!!!!!!! Buy it man!

Are you doing a dyno tune or a canned tune? If you're going to buy a TB/Plenum I'd wait on the tune. Otherwise I'd flip a coin. I do think my canned(93 octane)sniper tune did more.

lol trickflow track heats r like 800 bux...i have a c&l plenum and 75mm tb on my 96 t-bird 4.6 and it made quite a bit of a difference over stock. but thats w/ a MAC cai and an sct chip/tune. but i have yetto swap it over to my stang, so i really dont kno wat kind of difference it will make yet. i think it worked so good in my t-bird because ford restricted the shiet outta the tbirds. and another thing is gas mileage, it ups ur mileage alot too. but w/ those gears i doubt u r worried about gas mileage haha. and as far as bang for the buck c&l is really reasonable. also go check out c&l 80mm maf conv. that paired w/ tb/pl is supposed to sqeeeeze out a pretty decent increase in cfm/hp/tq etc. im considering an 80mm maf to go w/ my tb/pl. ill let u kno wats up once i swap those parts over.

I have a Mac TB and a C&L Plenum. They are both priced very well and are good quality.

dont let anybody tell you different, get a tb/plenum, its worth it and itll help you. all the people that say its not worth it are morons, my friend bought a 99 gt BONE STOCK. we installed a tb/plenum, k&n filter, bassani o/r x, 2 chamber flows and he ran a 13.20@108. and he also had nittos & 3.73s.
