Yeah, It works fine when you are going around a curve in 2nd and floorboard it at the apex. TC will keep you outta the ditch!!!

Traction control was an option in 1999 and 2000. I have it. I don't find it to be a problem. It takes no time at all to turn it off using the button. Can traction control save you in the winter? No. There appears to be a delay from the time you start to spin to when it kicks in. If you're alreay sideways and don't know how to drive, then you're already screwed. On ice this winter I used the spinning wheels light as an indicator for myself to ease off. Each to his own. Some like it, some don't but I definitely want it there for when my wife drives my car.

Niether of my 99's had TC. If they did, it would have been turned off with a tuner asap. I don't have snow here, and I drive slow in the rain, soit is not needed in the least bit.

You can be the best driver in the world and winter roads can put you in the ditch , other lane , wall or grave in a split second ! traction makes it very dangerous in snow , very frustrating at times.

i dont have t/c...but stangs with t/c- its not really that it makes your car slower, it just holds you back under acceleration..it doesn't let all the power to the wheels...some people need t/c lol
