i have a king cobra with steel flywheel in my 00 gt vert. and when i slam it into second and dump the clutch it sounds like a squeak/squeal like it may be slipping?? my stock clutch grabbed harder it seemed like and chirped the rear tires but now it feels weak. is it a possible trow out bearing?? please help!!! thanks.

I'd like to know why you're power shifting? Regardless of the clutch you have, you're just asking for trouble. But hey, it's your ride so you can do as you please. Just a little side note for you though. Replacing a transmission cost just a tad bit more than replacing a clutch.

Very true! Not sure what it is, but it might be bad from the start. How new is it? How many miles? Do you do this often?

i would stop powershifting on that t-45, from all the info ive gotten from ppl from various boards is that the t-45 can't take the abuse of power shifting for very long.

Keeping the gas pedal to the floor through shifting using the clutch.

my stock tr3650 would kind of chirp when speed shifting into third gear. it had to be coming from inside the trans because i would hear the chirp as i was shifting. later on my third gear blocker ring dog teeth wererounded. but i never really did diagnose it before my shift fork broke. with my tko i never need to look back.
