Got it all wired up. set it to one coil. Set the off rpm to 6.0 so that should be 6000 rpm

I can start the car and the rpm reading is reading correctly.

Now the problem I am having is with the on rpm. It will go from 0 to 1.50 and the period is flashing between the 1 and the 5

Why will it not go above 1500 rpm? Is it a hardware issue and the unit that just needs to be replaced, a installation issue or a user

Thought i would post up my findings

Yeah everything is working fine. My assumption was that the period meant something for a decimal holder. But is only to tell you what your adjusting. so 3.2 or .32 is still 3200 and 1.50 and 15.0 is 15000. only difference in the period is if you adjusting the on or off rpm. Examples in the installation book would have been great, but dont guess they thought anyone would question it. Have to say its easy but lol just dont over think it.


I got everything adjusted how I want it to be now. Now to call up the a guy from the track and see if they are going to be there tonight and get me some race gas.[sm=nxsmile.gif]

got the kit used of ebay and it came with the msd digital window switch.

They have em on summitracing for 115 here is the link
