yeah dont cut **** off your springs, if u r too worried bout it then take it to a proffessional and hav em look at it. and is it a 1.5" lowering kit on all 4 corners or a 1.5" in front and somthin diff in back? but yeah bigger rims would help alot, and the camera angle is pretty deceiving.

I have the pro kit and it seriously settles. I measured it right before, right after install, and a week after.

Right after install it was only .75" lower than stock. A week later it was 1.8" lower than stock!

And yes getting 18" rims will help tremendosly.

ORIGINAL: Jbauer

yea i removed the bushings, but only in the front. settling in is BS, your right, there suppose to lower right after the new springs (atleast eibachs are) I swear that camera makes things look higher. in person it looks a whole lot lower, but still, i wis the rear were lower. I was considering cutting a coil off the rear, would it ruin the ride quality any?
tires are 245/45 R17
Let them settle, its not BS. This is what it should look like when installed properly and given a few weeks to settle.
Stock rims

With 18s

You have to give them time to settle!
I replaced my springs and shocks/struts all at the same time and it took nearly a week to get the full 1.5" drop.
I know after all of that work you want to see instant results but with new springs time is what it takes.

The rear pigtails (the bottom endof the coil and not the top) are both supposed to face the drivers side to get the correct drop.

And while you are at it, get a brush and water and scrub them fender wells! Then get a can of rubberized undercoat paint and give them a quick shot of black. Bealive me... you will appreciate the drop a lot more when you wont see all that brown and grey between the black fender and black tire.
