Default Another TB+Plenum question

I bought a used accufab tb+plenum and was wondering if there is a gasket between the plenum and intake manifold. I looked at my car and do not see one sticking out at all so I was wondering if I need to buy one before the install. I thinking that there should be one there. If there is one which kind of gasket do you recommend?

There is. Some of the older cars i think pre 99 had a conventional paper gasket, and after that there was an o ring, either blue or orange.
your car will def. have one or the other. you wont see either from outside.

Put mine in 2 weeks ago. Don't remember seeing one for theplenum... the T/B did. As a matter of fact, the boxwiththe plenum came with a gasket for the T/B only. Bought both brand new. Did have the o ring, but looked new so didn't replace it.

I just swapped out my plentum and TB, went to the dealership and got a new rubber seal that goes on the intake. Mine was on a 2001 GT. The old one looked fine, but $8.00 ins for the seal. I went with a accufab 75mm TB and Plentum. Working out great.

There is a gasket between the plenum and the intake manifold. I just put my accufab 70mm combo on 3 days ago and the stock gasket is crappy paper. I do have an extra gasket for it tho (that came with it) along with another gasket that goes between the plenum and the black *pizza looking thing* on the right of it. (i know, such a n00b term but i don't know what it's called)
