Default Mach 1 Shaker on 2v?

A buddy of mine just put a 3 inch cowl on his mach 1 and asked me if i would like to buy his hood and shaker assembly, has anyone ever attempted this with any success?

P.S. I tried the search option but with it came no success

Yes it has been done but doesn't yeild that much power. I think you will need the intake as well.

yeah all you need is the proper tubing pretty much, i wouldn't waste my time with it though personally cause when poeple see it and think it's a mach1 w/ the shaker, then you tell them it's just a GT..that would be a let down, lol[8D]

true, but then again it does look bad@ss! how much is he selling it to you for? if you are getting it cheap then i would jump on it, but if he want's a good bit of money for it then i would just let it pass by. the gains are not worth all the money. unless you just want it for looks?

I totally agree with tim ^^ I wouldn't pay alot for it b/c you will have little if any any power gains. I personally thought about it just for the looks.

Big deal... I wouldn't be doing it just for what other people think, if they get let down because you told them that, then they can kiss my.....

It looks bad *** what ever car it is on and thats all that counts.
Just do it.... [8D]

You will need to fab up something in order to mount it. The mounts are designed to fit on the top of the Mach intake. It shouldn't be too hard.
