Where can you get the bulbs for this. I want to do mine in blue since I have C2 gauges.

I put the white face gauges on mine and I don't think the backlight is bright enough. It looks good in the daylight but not too good at night. Plus I dropped a couple of the speedo pens doing the change so I'm thinking about changing the whole display with the Roush setup. However, $400 seems like a lot to spend on a gauge display.

I bought some UPR cheap crap guages for my car and I regret it. Crappy *** quality, the guages are all blurry. Spend some money and do it right... I like white guage faces, I don't think that's rice at all.

Since 5speedstang didn't mention the site to get the bulbs I'll post it. I taked to him about a year back about doing the same thing he did, but never ended up doing it. I might do it sometime in the future.

true, the bulbs for the 99-04 is bulb 74. and the website was superlumination.com i didnt just decide to sand the green off i actully read up on it. ford uses a green tint on the back to get the color on the gauges.

I decided to do it today. I wanted to see what it would look like just taking off the green film. I thought it would be white, but the bulbs aren't really white, more of a orange color so it didn't work out too well. I'm going to check out advanced auto parts to see if they carry the bulbs and if not then I will probably order some super whites from superluminations. pics will be added later

I bought mine off e-bay for like $28.00 shipped (CHEAPO). Haven't had any problems, put it in about 3 months ago.
Just followed the instructions from Americanmuscle.com and wasn't too hard. The only thing it didn't come with was
a dimmer ****, just on off switch, but I like the brite blue. BTW... it's a reverse glow guage. White in the day, blue at nite.
