Default C&L plenum and 75mm t.b.

so i just swapped over my C&L plenum and 75mm t.b. from my old 96 t-bird to my 98 gt. if anybody is wandering if its worth it or not...it totally is. the setup isnt that expensive and the result is betterthrottle response, more power and torque, better air fuel mixture, and suprisingly a little deeper exhaust note. i have a vid of it, the difference isnt really noticable in video but in person especially while driving it its nothing but smiles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=weKX-8AGl8c

if u got any questions just ask me.

yeah i'm shocked at the diff in the gains from the t-bird to the mustang. its like a completely different motor. that thunderbird had the pl/tb cai AND an sct chip w/ a custom tune by strictly performance outta houston tx so it was no slouch. but wen i tookthe mustangdown the street the first time today...HOLY ****...[8D]. hey im also bout to go to the lm1's on my stang. just ordered them offa americanmuscle and waitin for them to get here how do u like urs?

I love my LM1's, loud, but sound amazing. They're gonna be really really loud with the o/r pipe you have though, I've been pulled over a few times for mine and I have cats.

o yeah ive been pulled over cuz of my flows lol. i have an auto and flows, not that loud right? haha yeeeaaaahhhh i got pulled over for"driving too agressive and suspision of illegal modifications" haha thank god the cop was a dumb *** and wouldnt kno an o/r mid pipe from his own @$$ hole. and the funny thing is i didnt get it above 2500 the whole time the cop was watchin me =D he just thot he was hot **** and had caught himself a street racer. but my car passes inspection and as long as the cops dont know exactly what an o/r mid pipe looks like then im good to go [8D]

Just out of curiosity.. How can you tell that you have better air/fuel without dyno results.

hahaha i sniff my exhuast...im not ****tin u. i could smell i was runnin way rich before the pl/tb went on. now its not near as rich. my pops taught me that, in fact he was the one who noticed it was runnin rich. back in the day when he was racin in the mid 70's he deffinately didnt have a dyno and a computer read out to tell him he was runnin rich. and right now nether do i. oh and i get a little better gas mileage now as well.

Back in the day they ran lead in the fuel too and didn't have sensors either. Don't sniff too long.
