white in oil???

Default white in oil???

so i did an oil change last night and when i went to put the oil cap back on it was all white inside of it....im dreading a gasket leakkkkkkkkkk

Sounds like condensation, normal during cooler weather. As long as the oil drained out didn't look like chocolate milk then all should be fine.

Bingo!^^.-- If you drain your oil & it looks like the aforementioned "chocolate milk", then you`ve got a problem with coolant in your oil.

I changed oil for a few years, and its not out of the ordinary to have some condensation inside the cap, especially if the car has sat for a while. But Like sated above, if the oil comes out milky or you pull the distick and there's a milkshake at the end you're looking at trouble.

What did the oil that came out of the pan look like?

it looked fine coming outta the pan...just in the cap was white
