Rack & pinion / Tie Rod problem? Help!
Hello All,
I have installed a QA1 Proactive system (K-member, Tubular A arms, Coilovers,Struts) andwas trying to installthe QA1 Bump steer kit untilIfound outthat it does not fit. Does anyone know the thread size on theRack & Pinion lower tie rod shaft? I measured it as a 14mm with a 1.5 threading. QA1 istelling me that their Bump steer kit was made using "Ford" specs and that their thread cut is 9/16 with a 18 threading. Does this sound right?
It's my stock Rack & Pinion and my stock tie rods screw on smoothly.
Ialso called steeda and they said theirbump steer kitcut is1/2 with a 20 threading.
Anyone have this problem when installing a bump steer kit?
