My stock 00' GT has this clicking noise that I cant quite figure out. It's consistent even when revving the engine. Now I've been using my defroster with out the A/C relay switch fixed so it kind of bogs down the engine alittle bit and I think that's what its. It's not the timing chaiin tensioner as its coming from just to the right of the intake maniold and I can't figure it out. My camera is dead but im charging right now so I can get a soundbite and tell me what you think it is. Thanks!

 

Could be an injector or two if the sound is coming from one side of the manifold. Go around to each injector with a screwdriver, put the tip on the injector and then put your ear up to the other end. I used a mechanics stethoscope instead of a screwdriver but I found that the tick I was hearing was just a noisy injector.
Is the tick louder when the hood is closed?
