Default Help an idiot fix his mustang

I'm gonna try to fix some of the problems on my own. I went to autozone today and bought a new: Air filter, fuel filter, wiper blades, spark plugs and a power window motor.

1)How do I do the spark plugs? I bought autolight platinum. Are they the same as v6 spark plugs because the person at autozone pulled my car up as a v6 and I said uhh its a v8 and he said allspark plugs are the same on ford motors. So I bought 8 autolight plugs. I didn't get a spark plug wrench because I didn't know which one to get.

So to fix the spark plugs do I need to disconnect hte battery first? Do I need to take off hte wire? How do you get the spark plug loose because they are sooo tight!!! PS what size wrench do I need and do I need to remove any parts to get to all the plugs?

2) Can I replace the fuel filter by using the spare tire jack in my trunk? I don't have lifts or a power jack so that's all I got.

3) When I take off the door panel, where is the power window motor? What tools do I need to do this one? (And do I need to disconnect the battery for it)

dude not to be mean or rude but if you didnt know to take the wire off the plug to get it out maybe it would be safer (for your car) to take it to a shop. again not trying to be an *** or anything

I second that.

Especially if this is something you rely on everyday.

window mortor is a pain in the ***, and as far as the sparkpugs one at a time. and you'll to becarefull not to overtighten the plugs or undertighten them. kinda difficult for a newbie to just feel it. and the fuel filter... you'll get gas all over you but its not too hard.

I know to take out the spark plug wire. I'm not that dumb.

I know spark plugs are plug and play but the problem is I can't get to some of them. They are too far down and theres other stuff in the way. I dont wanna take too much stuff out and then I cant get it back together if you know what I mean
