i have a 96 gt trannys screwed its a t45 i had someone tell me i can use the 00 t45 but i need to buy other items with it to make it work can anyone tell me if i was told right. can anyone give me a list of parts i need. i can get one for 350.00 seems to be a good deal but idont know how much all the other parts will cost me.

You'll need a speed-cal because of the speedometer on the 00 is a electronic speed sensor. I believe it's 100$. OR you can dissasemble your tail shafts on both trans and swap the speedo sensors. You sont need anything else unless your rear mounting "ears" on the 00 trans is different than on yours. I'm not sure if they are different on all the new edges or if they are different on the 01's with 3650s.
