Does anyone know anything about the dimness issue after installation? I have seen several posts where people have mentioned that after installation, the mach gauges are not very bright. Anyone know how to solve this issue?
Thank You for the write up! Just swapped my 04 GT cluster for a white 01 Cobra Cluster following the directions and all went well without a hitch. But I did disconnect the battery before attempting the swap just in case. I also used a red sharpie and corrected the redline in the new gauge.

I know this is a older thread, I have a 03 Mach1 that originally came with a 5 speed. I recently installed a viper spec 6 speed with the .050 last gear ratio. I installed a gauge cluster from a 01 cobra and used my existing circuit board from the Mach1. It works well, untill I noticed the speedo was off a little, more like in between 5-10 MPH. I'm thinking the circuit board still thinks it is a 150 speedo because when I am cruising on the interstate pacing other vehicles, the needle is still in the straight up position which would indicate normally I would be cruising at 79-80 mph on the Mach1 gauge. On the Cobra gauges the needle was at or near between 85-90 mph( which is the 12 o'clock position) which I now is wrong otherwise I would be passing everyone on the interstate. Can anyone tell me how to correct this? I have a SCT tuner, but that is useless in cases like this. It only offers wheel rotation adjustments and rear gear ratios. I would imagine that I would have to take the MPH needle off to reposition back like say about 5 mph and place the needle stop back in place. Does anyone know if Ford can make adjustments to properly calibrate it to be dead on accurate?
Oh, by the way I do have a Mach1 cluster available on ebay in excellent condition as well as 1995 cobra R wheels with tires if anyone is interested. thanks
