Default Throttle cable with BBK 75mm T/B

I completed my install of a 75mm T/B and C&L / RPM plenum last night. It wasn't to hard to install, but I am having a HECK of a time getting the throttle hooked up. The old T/B had a rubber cam on it where the bullet from the throttle cable could slide right into it. It will NOT fit on the BBK T/B no matter what I try and I am worried about damaging the cable.

Anyone else have this issue? I was able to start her and she runs fine, but I need to the throttle cable hooked up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
