2004 GT Horsepower

Default 2004 GT Horsepower
What is the horsepower of the 2004 GT? The advertisements state 270 HP but looking up VIN identification states 225HP. Whats correct?

the engine probably produces 270 hp but only puts on 225 to the rear wheels. Its like my 99 cobra, the engine stock is 320 hp but only puts out around 280 (back when it was stock, not even close now) but thats probably what is it. im not 100% positive on that tho

no, it has 260HP at the crank and between 220-230 RWHP for a 5 speed.

99-04 GT's were actually rated again at 270hp. But it seems nobody cares. I haven't seen any updates on the Bullitt though.

Yeah. Whe nwas that? My brochure from my '03 says 260.
