Default question about SLP and resonators

I'm looking for an affordable mean sounding exhaust for my 02GTand slp's loudmouth catback looks about the meanest and cheapest but i'm conserned about not having true mufflers for inspection reasons. Does anyone know if resonators will pass inspection since a muffler really is a resonator in a way? i live im Pa, thanks

As far as I know, the resonators shouldn't impact smog. Not in California, anyway. But don't get LMIs, in my opinion. I just pulled the ridiculous LMIs off my car and put on LMIIs. It was too much, made the car not even fun to drive. When you are avoiding getting on the gas for a reason besides saving gas, something is wrong.

the resonators wont affect emissions, well atleast not here in Nashville, TN.. As for sound.. LM1s are loud as hell.. I have o/r x and slp lm1s and LOVE the sound.. its loud, and its true you do have to watch getting on the gas for noise reasons in certain areas i.e high cop volume areas haha..

check vid in my sig for some sound

MY LM1s made it through inspection with no problems. Although the F***ing kid doing the inspection attempted to do a burnout on the inspection garage floor.

I plan on getting the LM2s. The LM1s give me headaches on long trips.

if you order the catback no welding at all will be required, remove the hangers, slide the new pipes right on and bolt em down..
