i think im gonna be going with the pi swap and like i said b4 i dont want used pi i wanna start off new. I kno it would be cheaper. And also the kit has ported pi heads and better cams than the pi camswhich would give more hp than used non ported pi heads and pi camsya kno. there were 2 stages on the kit 1 is just a pi swap and it says itll give around 65 rwhp not including the cams.thestage II kit however has all the stage 1 kit plus the heads are ported and thevalves are forged and it has the 7000rpm springs anditsthe cams i can choose from are better so it says itll give around 120rwhpincluding the camsdo these numbers seem right. I didnt think they did at first but from wat ive read a regular pi swap gives areoung 60 rwhp so maybe the stage II kit does give 120 idk.

That's not a peak gain in hp. That's at like 6K rpms.

BTW: I had the PI swap and decided to ditch the heads when I went with a blower because of the compression ratio being too high. If I had to do it all over again, I would not have gotten the PI heads. Waste of $$$ in my case. You can port the non-PIs for around $700 or find a good deal on some SVO's. I got my SVOs for 675 on ebay brand new.

you will spend a lot of money on a TT setup for just 400rwhp. Now if you have a built motor and want an absolute beast, then turbo is definately the way to go. Dude just do a pi intake/pi cams and supercharge it and it'll be maxed out. Trust me i went that route.

i dont really see myself blowing it if i do the pi swap. How much hp could i see with the pi swap (with the ported pi heads and the better cams), the catback i have, a tune,70 throttle body and a cai?

Well to give you an idea of how much hp you would have with that setup, I had:

HP 270
TQ 285

Mods:
PI intake
PI Heads (unported)
Comp Stage II Cams
Long Tubes/H Pipe/Catback
Trick Flow Plenum/CAI/70MM TB
Plugs/Wires/SCT custom tune

they have a universal kit that you could buy... i have never seen anyone ever use them but it looks like i could be good and the physics behind it make sense too

xmike is tht to the wheels? and do u think the ported pi's will add a decent amout more than the non ported. oh yeah and the heads come with a competition valve job and 7000rpm springs if tht makes a difference. u think i could reach 300 to the wheels?
