Default Strange cabin noise..

ok i need some help quick, this is driving me crazy, i have a small problem, when the car pitches forward like in braking or if i go over a bump, i get this strange sound that can only be spoken of as, you know the caps on snapple bottles? you know the ones you can have in your hand and making a snapping sound? well that except a muffled and i feel it where the pedal assembly is, sounds like its coming from there too....i hope someone else out there has had this problem...i have done nothing ot the suspension or anything of the sort so this is a factory problem..and yes i want to take it to the dealer its under warranty but problem is it's like 20 miles away, and im a busy guy...any hep would be much appreciated..
