I have been lookin into cams for my 2000 mustang , ive have been wondering how much of a difference they will make, on the 96-98 they say they gain 12-13 hp to the wheels but what about the 99+ how of a difference would they make?
get VT stage II's. with bolt ons, you can see 280-290 rwhp with a good tune. stock heads.
I don't think I would go with the stage 2s if I had it to do over again, I would go with stage 1s. The only advantage I gained was replacing my valvesprings (I wouldn;t have done it with the stage 1s) but it cost quite a bit more, and unless I get a rotating assembly so I can rev to 6800 RPM I don't see much power gain over the stage 1s (cause the vavle springs kill what little they gave me down low).
i have a few things i don't the brand of them but i got underdrive pulleys, c&L mass air flow sensor,4.10s( not a 100% but almost positive) and bassani off road x pipe , flowmaster weld ins, and on the way i have a mac cold air intake , throtle body and intake spacer
