2.5" but be prepared for a loss in low end torque.

a BIG loss in low end I wouldn't recommend it unless you got motor work done.

Is it worth the sound to lose the torque? And if so would it be significant enough to feel it at the throttle?

no. I think my car sounds just as good, if not better through the exhaust.... and I have cams.

cutouts don't work on every car i had an S10 with cut outs and cheap glass packs and it ran slower uncaped and a buddy of mine has a 73 GTO cutouts and flowmasters and his runs a faster time uncapped

I'm not sure what floats your boat, but my car sounds like an old farm truck with the cutouts open. I 100% prefer the sound of the catback. But my exhaust is very loud anyways. If it were really quiet, maybe I'd like it more?

if you're running a high-compression upwards of 12:1 then you'll run better un-capped...

otherwise let it run through the exhaust.
