Default serious question

what happens if you crash your car and abandon it?

its the next morning now, you hit your head, there might be blood on hte air bags etc . ? you crashed into a pole and and there is decent damage, prlly not totaled or anything, but bumper flew off, hood and possible engine damage.

can you call your car in stolen, will tlhat work?
if not, if you claim you crashed and then left your car what are the consequences is it a hit and run?

Your asking someone to recommend that you do something illegal....on a public forum no less. My advice sometimes you have to bite the bullet and face up to things. Also, you may get more respone in the off topic forum...just a suggestion. Good luck.

well you are guilty of leaving the scene of an accident, now in this case it may only be a misdemeanor because no one else was invovled. It should be reported to the insurance company unless you plan on repair everything out of your pocket. No you cannot report the car stolen.
