Default Synthetic or Regular

What are some advantages and disadvantages of Synthetic over Regular oil?
BTW, I have a 02 GT, manual, stock. Won't be doing much modding, only exhaust, chip and K&N.
thx for info

the synthetic is more money but it's worth every penny in my opinion.

The synthetic molecules are smaller than the regular dino oil so they flow better and get in all the little scratches and imperfections in the engine.

Syn is not affected by temperature nearly as much as regular oil as well. It flows better cold and does not break down or get thin as easily at high temperatures.

It also has a longer lifespan than regular oil.

I would recommend synthetic in your trans and rear end as well.

yup , i put mobil 1 synth in my tranny and engine, and the rear end shop put in synth in my rear end when they put in 410s... its nothing you will notice , but still it makes u feel better and more confident in your car if u use synthetic
