any turbo guys?
hey wats up guys i havent been on in a while but this is tha beginning of my new project for my car.
its a holset h1e i got it on ebay for about 180 bux. its brand new and is a genuine holset turbo. its similiar to a garrett t4 turbo.
i plan on making around 380 onthe stock shortblock and around 600 when i have enough money for a good rotating assembly.
i was wondering if there are any other turbo guys on here and if you wouldnt mind sharing your build lists and any problems you ran into.
also a question for any tuning guys. will i be able to run 52 or 62 lb. injectors as overkill for when i have it tuned for 380 horses so i have room to play with when i want to be able to crank up the boost for a 600 horse tune or are they too large?

RE: any turbo guys?
Go to the modular section atturbomustangs.com for tons of info. The guys there will be able to answer ANY questions you have. They have helped me out a lot with questions for a future build.
As for the injectors, I would just stick with 42 lb's until you can get a new short block to crank up the boost.

You'll probably max out the rest of your fuel system before you max the injectors. 42#'s are supposed to be good to 800.

eh i kinda doubt that i think they will be around 100 percent duty cycle around 600 horses, and i already am planning on dropping in dual pumps, running dual fpdms, and more than likely 2 seperate lines per cylinder.
