Default installing underdrive pullies

I'm trying to put these March performance UDP on my engine and I'm having problems with directions and such. for the harmonic balancer pulley the directions tell me to take off my factory balancer and take the "hub" out of it and put it in the aftermarket balancer. I don't know what this "hub" they are talking about is and need to know what it is to keep my progress, so anyone who has installed UDP on their car, your input is appreciated, thanks.

I'm not sure, it's just a march performance pulley setup part #1150 for some years of GT and Cobra

They are piggyback--here's a link to a Stangnet page that has some iformation about installing them. It sounds as though March's instructions suck--what is confusing you is that there is no "hub", they are talking about the OEM crank pulley/balancer.'Twas me (and if it was an option) I'd send 'em back and get a non-piggyback set from Steeda. There are numerous reports of and annoying visible wobbling with piggybacks, some reports of vibrations at certain speeds, and a few claims of front main beraing/seal/crankshaft damage (I've never seen any photos of this) resulting from their use.Beyond that, IMHO, they are as ugly as the South end of a Northbound bulldog.Having the OEM crank pulley/balancer hanging out in space off the underdrive pulley looks like crap...

i cant speak on march pulleys since i dont own them, or know anyone that does. but...i CAN tell you that i have had bbk pulleys on my car for over 2 years now, and there has not been a single problem with them yet. there are no bad vibrations, they dont stick out and look silly, and there sure as hell is no visible wobble! lol

anyway...im sure you have the pulleys installed by now. let us know what you think of them. take some pics if you can.

well from what i've heard i think i might just send them back because i haven't put any of them on yet, currently i just have all of my stock pulleys off and the balancer pulley was the first i was going to do so luckily i ran into that first so i can just get a better set. thanks

it all depends on how well it goes and stuff..i ended up havin to take my radiator fan off to get a air drill to the harmonic balancer cause brute force started to strip the bolt...in the end it took like3 hours lol way to long we also did a few other things to it but it really should only take an hour or something like that...easy install and imo i say get steeda's they are real nice
