Default Differential & Axle Recommendations

I'm getting ready to pick up a new 31 spline differential and 31 spline axles. I was wanting to hear some opinions on the differential. For the axles I'm going to use either Moser or Strange. I saw FRPP has one for $182 through Jegs, but I figure it must not be as strong as the more expensive ones. I'm wanting something to hold up to nitrous launches on slicks. Thanks.

Go for the tru-trac diff. I run FRPP 31 spline axles and they haven't failed me yet. Im only pulling 1.7 60ft but still coming off hard with no issues yet.

I loved my Auburn.. In straight lines it acted very much like a locked/welded diff, but on the turns, it lived up to it's name.. I used the FRPP axles, and they worked out great, then again I didn't have a sh-t-ton of power...

The FRPP is as strong as the more expensive units! Get the one with the carbon fiber clutches!

The FRPP that's 181.00 is open differential, you don't want that!
FRPPthis is the one!

I like how it says, "Original Equipment in 03'-04' Cobras...

I got the Auburn mostly because the guy who re-did my rear axle recommended it.. Maybe it's because it cost a little bit more, but I really liked it.. I could see them easily taking 700+hp...

But, for a hair over $300, the FRPP unit should do you right..

I'm running an Eaton posi and moser 31 spline and they take a pretty good beating.

It will! Plenty of 5.0 guys I know running big power and juice swear by the FRPP unit, plus it's rebuildable

Yep, I'm leaning towards the Termi diff w/ strange axles.
