i have a auburn pro series, it has no clutchs it has cones and it will spin both tires everytime and if your going slow and turn and get on it you can feel it lock in. as far as the axles i would go with 31 spling mosers but there again your stock axles will take a pretty good beating my buddy sprays 200 with slicks in a stock rear end if that tells you anything

Im running the FRPP carrier with extra clutches to make it bittighter with moser 31 spline axles, and I love the setup. Even just playing around on the street I notice a huge difference...

Ok I am In the Same boat... I am Going to rebuild my Rear next month. I Was going to go with:
FRPP 31 for $182 From Jegs
Eaton's 31 Spline Posi Limited Slip Differential for $450 From AmericanMuscle.com
4.30 Motive Gears for $165 with a Motive Bearing kit for $75 From AmericanMuscle.com
Total: $872
How much will I be looking at for install this, whats the average? (BTW on a 01 GT its 8.8" rear, right?)

And when Upgrading all of this is going with a alum drive shaft worth the money... Next year I will be in the 600-700 whp range.
This Year I am doing my rearend, tranny and suspension to be ready for that kind of power.

Next year its a whole engine build on a new alum block with built 4v heads a custom camand full forged internals., blower (or twin turbo), fuel system upgrade, dont know what kind yet.

The FRPP is as strong as the more expensive units! Get the one with the carbon fiber clutches!
Last time I was a the track, there was a bolt-on Termi that blew out it's rear in 3rd gear on street tires (non d/r's). Makes me wonder.....

^^^ and to the above post, where are FRPP 31 spline axles for $182 a pair? I dont see it anywhere on Jegs.
