Cheap a$$ ford, wtf is up with this. My 02's headlight **** just fell off into my hands tonite when I sitched on the headlights. Real top quality, why in the world did ford go old school and put this cheapy **** on there? Does anybody know, how is it on there? I pushed it back on, but now every time I turn on my headlights, the **** pulls right off. Am I missing something?

there is alittle clip on the inside of the **** itself that holds it on. take off the ****. there is a small sli ton the shaft of the **** (laugh here) that lines up with the clip inside the dash. lin eit up and push it in, should clik in, unless fo course you broke it. You should needa small flathead screw driver to get it off (to push the pin in). Hope you understood what I just said... good luck. check out www.uprproducts.com

Look up the headlight *****, they have install instructions, just work them backwards....

did you ever have the **** off before, or the previous owner?? sounds like it wasn't tooken off before properly, and the inside of the **** is stripped out. The shaft it slides on too, there is a release mechanism you have to push in to properly take the **** off. Looks like you have to go buy a new plastic **** from Ford... thats if they only sell it, and not the whole switch assembly... good luck..........

Ya mine came off when i first got my car [:@] but i but some jb weld on that bad boy and that worked wonders, if you want to go that route.

Yeah, I can't believe that they use such a POS looking switch. It is 21 century and they use shat from the 80s... ridiculous. Everytime I turn the lights on, I wanna rip that focker out and replace it with a normal switch.[:@][:@][:@]

I got into a 2002 GT from an 03 Maxima and boy is there a difference in fit and finish!
This is a fun car that is very cheaply made. If it wasn't for the coolness of a Mustang, it should've been about $3-5k less.
