RE: t-45 has failed...
the R is a direct drop in. The RS is also, but you need a 26 spline clutch (read: same input shaft as a TKO!).
My RS shifts real nice plus that scattershield is insurance that your cluch/flywheel won't come flying in through the floor.

RE: t-45 has failed...
As long as there isn't too much heat damage (usually cracks or small bluish looking spots covering the contact area), or any warping, a resurfacing should do the trick..
As for the clutch, it's good practice to just replace it when you've got everything off.. Why repeat the same steps just to get the tranny out again, when it's easy to grab the clutch and flywheel at the same time??
Oh yeah, get a good OEM throw-out bearing while you're at it...

How is the T-45RS to shift?
My t-45 is very slow to shift it really requires effort to shift fast. And the shifts feel like im stirring a pot of nuts and bolts.

Unless you've messed up your transmission, that's a shifter issue. You need to remove your stock shifter, throw it in the trash, and install a good quality aftermarket unit. The factory shifter is teh suck.

Why are there no specs on the T-45R/S? what kinda load can it take and is the ratios the same as the T-45?

Well could be. I have a MAC short throw that came with the car so i don't know what the stock shifter is like. Doesn't seem messed up, but it is harder to get in gear the hotter the trans get, but some new and better trans fluid could probably fix that.

RE: t-45 has failed...
just give them a call. Greg would be more than happy to help you. When I spoke to him he told me the R is good for 450 ft/lbs in a 3500lb environment and the RS is 600 ft/lbs in a 3500lb environment.
